RVG Mumbai: As per the tradition of RVG, There is a Sundarkaand Paath (a ceremony of reading a Hindu Holy book "Sundarkaand" together in the singing way) held every half year just before the declaring of the CA result.

This january the results of CA examinations held in November 2007 were going to be declared on the 16th. Students, therefore, decided to held Sundarkaand Paath on 12th of Jan 2008. The picture in right can show you the arrangement of the ceremony.

All the students participated in the ceremony to pray the Lord to provide success to all the students not only to them whose result is declaring on 16th, but also to them who are going to give exam in very near future.

RVG Mumbai: The latest change in RVG is found as change in Mess Committee members. A fresh and revised Mess Committee is formed by RVG Management with the help of students.

However, there is no big changes made as only 2 students from the old mess committee are replaced. It is also considerable that a new mess menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner is also prepared.

RVG Mumbai : The last month of the previous year was very important for RVG as 50 years of successfully running a hostel and providing the CA students better facilities were going to be completed. The management decided to celebrate this point of time in a manner that no one can forget easily. All the Students of RVG were also in favour of this decision.

As per the schedule, two days 15th and 16th of December 2007 were selected for the celebrations. A huge function was held on 15th at RVG's own premises. The function on 16th was at Ritumbara College ground.

On 15th, stage show was presented by children of a society which runs to provide education to those people who are mentally or physically retarded. This show as well as this function was a great success for RVG management and students as well. CA Sunil Talati, the president of The Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of India was the chief guest for the function.

On 16th there was a great function organized at the Sports ground of Ritumbara College, Juhu. A great KAVI SAMMELAN was held in the function in which famous kavis from different areas of India were invited to perform includes Surendra Sharma, one of the most famous kavis of India. This function got an ultimate success bigger than the previous.
